“I only like girls”
Zoe has quite a few girl friends, but – as discussed here many times – she’s always gravitated towards the boys. Which is why, perhaps, I’m getting such a kick of watching Avery’s blossoming friendships with so many girls from school and camp. (“I only like ghouls – not boys,” she has told me more than once.) Over the last few months, she has gotten super close to several female classmates – and we’ve had two outings with such friends recently (first at Fairyland and most recently at Gilroy Gardens). The most fun thing: They’re all just so girlie together, squealing and laughing and reminding me at times of miniature college buddies.
