At the zoo

Another holiday, another day at the zoo for me and the girls. We visited the insect room, played on the playground, picked some flowers and saw lots of birds – which Avery loves. The cutest thing: Avery was insistent that we follow around one of the zoo’s free-roaming peacocks, but when he got too close to her, she cried out, “No!” and ran up to hug my leg. Wish I had gotten a picture of that!

Great pictures. Looks like it was a perfect day for the Zoo, with lots of sunshine and lots of wild flowers for the girls.
