The girls are both sick – despite my worries, they didn’t get the stomach bug I had last weekend but, instead, ear infections. Oh, and a minor case of bronchitis (Zoe) thrown in for good measure. There seems to be a pattern here (the three of us were all sick in mid-January last year, too), but this round of sickness isn’t all that bad. The girls are in quite good spirits (the pic below is from yesterday; Zoe was thrilled to get a frozen treat to sooth her sore throat), and they’re already halfway through their antibiotic course. Plus, this gives me an excuse to just stay home and hang out with them today.
