Birthday party!
So, we threw Zoe her second birthday party yesterday. We lucked out with the weather – it wound up being sunny and in the 80s – and also with the fact that a lot of our friends were able to make it down to Half Moon Bay. The celebration was again a joint one with Zoe’s little friends Miles (birthday = 11.19) and Zander (11.22), and the three of them seemed to have a good time. There was a lot of bouncing, train-riding, animal-petting, and running around – and the kids enjoyed a cupcake (lemon with white frosting) after a round of Happy Birthday. I’m proud to report that Zoe ate every last crumb of her birthday treat.
Here are some pics.

All I can say is that I wish I was there to see the joy on my little Zoe’s face when everyone arrived and she realized (did she?) that the party was for her. We are missing the grandparents picture with Zoe.

Irith,
I agree with you………wish we all could have been together for Zoe’s birthday including her two uncles and aunt. I’m sure Uncle Dan did a good job filling in for the missing members of the family. I’m jealous. lol!! She certainly is a little light in all our lives near and far.
This reminds us of Michelle’s Birthdays….her Dad started having birthday weeks for her when she was very little. Looks as though the tradition has been passed on. Lucky Zoe!
