Learning about giraffes
Avery’s summer camp is animal-themed, and she cracked me and Zoe up with a little story about a recent session on giraffes. When the teacher asked her group why the animals had such big tongues, a little boy responded, “To wipe their nose.” Though very funny, Avery knew that wasn’t quite right and said she gave the more sensible answer: “To reach their food.”
