Aloha, part I

We haven’t had a chance to get on the computer much this week (it is vacation-time, after all), but I wanted to quickly post an update. We arrived in Maui to a beautiful rainbow on Sun. afternoon, and our days since then have been full of swimming, sunning, shopping and exploring. It took Zoe a few days to get used to the new time zone (she woke up at 4 AM on Monday and 5 AM on Tuesday), and she’s been a bit scared of the waves and ocean – but other than that, things have been very smooth. And relaxing.

Next on the agenda: wedding-related festivities for me and Q (we’re here for our good friend Fink’s wedding) and more hanging out with Safta and Pop Pop for Zoe. We’ll have lots more to post later.

Our little girl is certainly not a baby anymore. She looks adorable in her little swim suit. She seems to be enjoying every minute of being in the water. I’m sure Roger and Irith are enjoying every moment with Zoe. Of course, Q and Michelle, too. lol!! Can’t wait to see you all and spend time with Zoe.

The rainbow is beautiful, too. Enjoy!
