Little bear
Last night, as a sleepy and content Zoe snuggled up against me (and before that, Q), I decided that human babies are very much like little koalas. Check out the pics and I bet you’ll think the same thing.

Shouldn’t the title be little marsupial?
Early European settlers to Australia called the Koala the Native Bear and the Koala is still sometimes called the Koala Bear, although it is not even a placental mammal (like bears and most other mammals) – it is a marsupial.

Yeh, yeh, yeh. Well, “little bear” sounded cuter to me than “little marsupial.”

“As Q takes his life into his own hands, the audience leans forward with bated breath and wonders what will happen next in the next Adventures with Zoe. Tune in next time to find out….”

You have to admit that Zoe is so much cuter then the Koala bear, and we used to think that Koalas are cute. Not only is she cuter but she is prettier and sweeter and all I want to do is hug my little Zoe.

These pics are so precious!!! I was just at the SF Zoo recently, and she does sleep like a little koala!

Ain’t it the truth? I’ve thought the very same thing about our new little one. His favorite afternoon napping spot is just that — curled up against my chest. He’ll sleep for two or three hours that way. Only 30-60 minutes if I put him in his basinette for that nap. Congratulations you three!!
