Speaking of cute comments, Avery and I were talking last night about a party at her school, and she mentioned that the “little kids” (i.e. the ones in the class she was in last year) came, too. I know she’s big for her age but she’s still only 3, and the comment sounded so funny coming from her. “The little kids?  Aren’t you little?” I asked her. She shrugged her shoulders and replied matter-of-factly, “Not anymore.”
